
Hawks Lose in 2OT

A gutsy effort put in by the men in red on Wednesday night as the Hawks scored with 237 left in the third period to tie the game at 1-1, but surrendered a goal in the second overtime to come out on the short end of a 2-1 loss. Josh Nurse continued his strong play in the series coming off a 3-2 loss in game 2 at home on Sunday night , stopped 41 shots in the game . Pat Looby scored the tying goal late in the third setting the stage for the Barons winner early in the second overtime. The Hawks terrific penalty killing was almost the difference in the game surviving three, 5 on 3 pp in the game , but failed to produce on the there own pp , as they played the game without all-star Brent Feltz school comittments. Next game in Mitchell game four , Friday night at 830pm as the Hawks look to even the series.
