AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The Mitchell Hawks recently held there annual awards night  last weekend.

Tyler Van Drunen lead the way in the regular season selected as the MVP, and top scorer on the club, and Kevin Baetz was Top Defenseman, Ryan Magagnin was awarded the Sportsmanship and Ability , to go along with his second team all-satr award from the league, and the Sportsmanship award for the league. JJ Sparling was voted top defensive forward, Tyler Tolton was Most Improved, Jared Culliton was Rookie of the Year, Dorian Temlin took home the award which combines education and on ice achievement, Pat Loob who tied for the playoff scoring lead was MVP of the playoffs and Brent Feltz was voted Most Popular Player. The club also recognized overagers Travis Watson, Kyle Brodhagen and Feltz for there contibution to the club as Feltz, and Watson both put in 4 yr careers with the club. Sparling and Baetz where presented with the Iron Man Award having played in all regular season , and playoff games this past season. The club also said thanks to the hard working executive, parents, and coaching staff, and said special thanks to assistant coach Jason Bowles who stepped down from his position having spent the past 3 season with the club. The club with announce his replacement and 2010-11 staff for the upcoming 45th Anniversary season for the club in the near future.
