Tyler Masson, Brent Rae, Ryan Magagnin and Jalen Aitcheson all scored on Friday night as the Mitchell Hawks closed out the 2011 calender year , on a winning note defeating the Goderich Sailors 4-2 in Western Jr C game in Mitchell. Taylor Van Boekel was solid in goal stopping 24 pucks. With the win , the club enters 2012 with a season high six game winning streak, and keep pace with the Hanover Barons, just one point back of second place, after the Barons defeated league leading Walkerton Hawks in there home and home set last week. The club opens the New Year with a home and home series with the Kincardine Bulldogs, wednesday night 730pm at the Davidson Centre and back home Saturday night at 715pm.
