SYKES O.T. GOAL COMPLETES COMEBACK

A capacity crowd was witness to a great comeback in the third period , trailing 5-1 to Hanover the Hawks scored got goals from Tyler Million his first of the season , Brent Rae, Jalen Aitcheson, and pp goal by Jacob Patterson with 7 seconds remaining to tie the game, then Ryan Sykes scored on the pp 1:12 into overtime . 
    


Taylor Van Boekel stopped 27 shots for the win , and along with player of the month rookie Drew Reinhardt captured the top goaltending tandem for lowest goals against , with 109 in 36 games played with a 3.03 avg. Tyler Egerdee scored short handed in the second period, to put the Hawks on the board and added two assists, and Rae notched 3 assists to tie Tyler Masson for the team scoring . The Hawks will now take the first round bye and get ready to open  the Western Jr C Semi Finals at home , against one of the two lowest remaining seeds left from the first round.  The team went 12-2 down the stretch to capture second place .
