Hawks fired 57 shots at the Mt.Forest net Saturday night , including 3 pp goals in a 6 to 1 win over the Patriots in Jr C action in Mitchell.
Boyd Brown added a pair of goals including one on the pp, and Jade Maxwell scored once and added two assists. Brent Feltz , Tyler Van Drunen, scored pp goals and Travis Watson scored once. JJ Sparling contributed three assists in the win which raised the Hawks record to 5-0, there best start in Jr C franchise history. Kyle Brodhagen went the distance in net stopping 26 shots. Next action is next Fri in Wingham at 8pm, then return home Saturday to play the much improved Goderich Sailors game time 7 15pm.
